Successful stud farm in Hamm - The successful horses of the future at the Blüggel stud farm in Hamm, Westphalia, are now accommodated in pens and horse stalls from Röwer & Rüb.

Ralf Blüggel has been successfully breeding Westphalian and Oldenburger sport horses since the end of the eighties. He attaches great importance to successful and well selected mare lines. In the meantime he has a number of mares with top genetics at his facility. The selection of top stallions, which are particularly suitable for breeding modern sport horses, also plays a central role.

The jumper oriented mare pedigrees feature both illustrious as well as promising names, for example Cornet Obolensky x Pilot x Der Clou, Diarado x Landgraf x Capitol or Cassini I x Acorado x Contender. The dressage oriented mares include Donnerhall x Andiamo x Aktuell and Sir Donnerhall x Weltmeyer x Absinth.
Désirée Simon has now been involved in the breeding business for eight and a half years. Not only does she have an excellent breeding instinct, she also manages the horses under the saddle, training and presenting them. The team is rounded off by Debby Fischer, who takes care of the horses and the equipment. Another important team member is Nala, an ever-attentive Jack Russell bitch.

The successes of the breeder team are truly impressive. Corbinian (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot), ridden by Steve Guerdat, was awarded the title "Horse of the Year" in Switzerland in 2016. At the elite auction in Vechta last year, Congratulation out of Cornet Obolensky x Diarado x Landgraf impressed the judges with a perfect presentation and received the top price among the foal jumpers.
The list of breeding successes is almost endless.

We wish the Simon/Blüggel breeder duo continuing success and would like to thank them for their confidence in our products!
