Traineeships at Röwer & Rüb

Thedinghausen. Over the years Röwer & Rüb has become well-established in the region as a reliable and solid company that offers young people attractive trainee programmes. As a manufacturer of horse stalls and stable equipment, we have to make an effort to attract interested and diligent trainees. Other branches of industry sometimes seem to be more appealing at first glance. But we can hold our own. A traineeship at Röwer & Rüb is multi-faceted and always opens up exciting new areas for further development.

In 2020, three trainees successfully finished their traineeships in our company. Due to the pandemic, the conditions for our trainees were quite challenging, especially regarding their technical colleges. Luisa Apmann trained as an industrial clerk and now works in production planning and supports the marketing team in certain projects. Finn Wolters and Lajos Meisloh completed training as technical draughtsmen. Both were also taken on as employees and are now working on Röwer & Rüb's latest project. They have taken on the important task of preparing the technical drawings for the new tube laser cutter. Paula Schumacher also passed her final examination as an industrial clerk this year. She was also taken on and now works in order processing.

All four are highly committed to carrying out their tasks to the best of their abilities.  There is currently one trainee in the company – Finn Plewka. He is on his way to becoming an industrial clerk, has already worked in purchasing and learned how to deal with international suppliers. He is currently working in order processing and is already doing a good job.

Unfortunately, due to corona, many career events have been cancelled at which companies from the joint municipality of Thedinghausen or the district of Verden can get to know future trainees. For us, these are always good opportunities to highlight the wide range of training opportunities that our company has to offer. We will naturally take part at such career information days in the future when they are once more possible.

In the training year 2021 we will be pleased to welcome our new trainees (industrial clerk and IT specialist with focus on system integration) at Röwer & Rüb in Thedinghausen from 1 August.
