We are offering two different models of round horse walkers: The tower walker FREIMATIC and the ring walker TEOMATIC. Both are available with a diameter from 15 - 25 m and suitable for 4 – 10 horses.
The central tower represents the heart of the horse walker FREIMATIC on which the engine and the slewing ring are mounted. The galvanised “arms” that are carrier of the separating grills, loom from the central tower to the walkway of the horse walker. The quantity of the “arms” depends on the quantity of horses that are intended to be trained by the walker at the same time. It can variate between 4 and 10 horses depending on the diameter of the walker.
The biggest advantage of our horse walker FREIMATIC, compared to other suppliers, is the high positioning of the engine. It is less vulnerable to disruptions because it has no close contact to the ground so no moisture can reach the electrics.
Additional to the FREIMATIC horse walker, Röwer & Rüb developed and patented the ring walker TEOMATIC. It can be built in existing buildings with a free-standing construction or can be hang-up in an existing round arena. The free internal space can be used for lunging, to create storage or to circumvent possible obstacles.
pusher gates
Our special pusher gate technology is designed to minimize the risk of injuries.
Our standard pusher gate consists of a robust, hot-dip galvanised steel frame with a grille insert, rubber lamellae, and chains. The rubber pusher gate consists of a two-section perforated rubber mat and the rod pusher consists of 14 flexible plastic rods.
fences
We offer different fences and gates for our horse walkers.
Our standard plus fence elements are 1.60m high and they are filled with larch or hardwood up to a height of 1.25m. Their upper section consists of horizontal 3/4" bars.
The exclusive fence elements are 2m high and they are filled with larch or hardwood up to a height of 1.25m and their upper section consists of vertical 1/2" bars. There is also an elegant cross beam above the fill.
When the walker is roofed with a track roof or full roof, we recommend straining a wind protection net for further protection against the weather and to minimize the risk of injuries. We offer wind protection nets in many varieties.
Control unit
All Röwer & Rüb horse walkers are equipped with an electronical control unit for speed regulation.The speed is infinitely variable, and the direction can also be switched automatically.
