at the Gutshof Unterschwarzach
The Austrian mountain idyll of Saalbach Hinterglemm is home to a very special manor house estate. The Unterschwarzachhof is a holiday paradise. The Hasenauer family has now also built a wonderful small equestrian centre for their horse-riding guests.
Jacky and Toni Hasenauer run the Unterschwarzachhof with passion and attention to detail. There is a four-star superior hotel on the estate. In these wonderful surroundings visitors can enjoy the mountain landscape of the Salzburger Land as well as the wellness facilities of the hotel.
An organic farm also belongs to the estate. For Toni Hasenauer it is very important to know where the food processed in the hotel kitchen comes from. Interested visitors are allowed to watch the work on the farm or even join in and lend a helping hand themselves. The organic farm has a mini-farm for the children with many animals to pet or groom and at the same time they are able to learn a lot about life on the farm.
The ensemble of the Unterschwarzachhof includes not only the hotel, but also chalets, a self-catering house, a spacious Alpine Spa and now also an equestrian centre. Families in particular will have everything they need.
Nestled in the lush meadows of the organic farm, the horse stables, the riding arena and the outdoor facilities were built with a great deal of passion, time and dedication to create another gem in the crown of the Unterschwarzachhof. The enchanting and spacious garden, which connects the hotel and the patio with the stables and outbuildings, gives visitors the feeling of being in a village within a village.
The equestrian centre offers ideal conditions for dressage and show jumping riders. Horse stables, riding arena and riding grounds provide ample opportunities for training and relaxation. Recreational riders can enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Hinterglemm mountains. There are always horses and ponies on the farm. Visitors can also spend their holidays here with their own horse.
The horse stables were adapted to match the style of the existing buildings. At first sight it looks like a mountain lodge. Equestrian sports enthusiasts will enjoy the bright, large stalls with paddocks, grazing meadows, horse solarium and many other amenities for riders and horses.
Five spacious guest stalls with paddocks are available for visitors arriving with their own horses. The Hasenauer family has chosen the Amsterdam stall model from Röwer & Rüb to furnish their exclusive horse stables. This stall model is not only very chic, it also permits good social contacts between the horses.
